As the Learning Library is a local registered charity we are totally reliant upon outside funding to keep our valued service going.

Our sensory and specialist equipment is extremely popular and as quickly as they come back into stock they go out again.  These particular items can be expensive so funding is extremely important to the sustainability of our service.  Additionally,  we constantly look at ways to expand our stock thereby increasing the variety of toys we have available to members.  Any donations you feel able to make to the Learning Library would be much appreciated and gratefully accepted and would help us to continue to provide our service and every donation, large or small, helps to make a real difference to the lives of people with a learning disability.

  • Make a single donation - By making a single donation to the Learning Library, you will help people of all ages in County Durham who have a learning disability.
  • Make a regular donation - By choosing to give a regular monthly donation, you will be helping us to plan ahead for buying new equipment. A regular gift allows us to plan for the future because we know, day in day out, that we will have that steady income that we can rely upon.
  • Make a Bequest - By making a bequest to the Learning Library you will be supporting children, young people and adults all of whom will have additional needs/learning disabilities.

Please contact us if you would like to make a donation.

Our Promise - Every penny you donate will be used for the benefit of our members.
